It will depend on your age of the 65 inch Samsung television if it is a 2016 or 2015 you will not need a ( Evolution kit ) I have a 65" 2014 Samsung curved TV I had to buy and evolution kit $384 in order to play true 4K. It depends on the age of your television. And if it is SUHD you will not have a problem getting the full picture quality with that Sam song player just make sure it is TRUE 4K player. But the answer to your question is yes the picture will be much better.

Please try again later.This samsung bb player does upscale regular bluray near 4 k resolution because it support hdmi 2.0 and higher, im currently using audioquest chocolate cable and it does alot better job than most of other cable. And also regular bluray player only support hdmi 1.4 lower so it cant have this upscale quality u want to get.
