i did some research and i believe the only tv that will really do the full HDR spec is the new line of LG OLED 2016 models. i did get this tv (LG OLED55E6P) and its amazing! it will tell you when HDR content starts playing with a little bubble. also you will need a proper receiver as well if its part of your setup.. i originally tried an ONKYO that said it supported hdcp 2.2 and hdmi 2.0a (HDR support) but the colors wouldn't pass through right where they were wider ranged.. i went with a brand new to the market (which i believe is the only one as of now) denon avr-s920w and its passed everything through fine! as for your tv it might work but I'm guess it won't show full range of color. i know some people get messages that popup saying your tv isn't compatible. if you want to get more nerdy on it research all devices and make sure the specifications support BT.2020 (color space) hdcp 2.2 (copy protection) hdmi 2.0a (HDR information) best of luck

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello, You will be able to watch blu-ray 4K movies without any issues. Your TV doesn't appear to support HDR. Therefore, the only improvement you might see will be the higher resolution available. HDR seems to be the real key differentiator for picture quality. My personal opinion is that the jump between Full HD and 4K (without HDR) is less obvious than between DVD and Full HD.
