- Answer When the Sandisk Clip Sport is new the battery can play a continuous 20 hours. After 3 years of heavy use the battery life degrades to about 8 hours.

- Answer This unit can be operated with one hand if the unit is help in place somehow. There is a clip on the rear, so if they can get the unit attached to something they should be able to use it. Plugging in the USB cable and downloading music might be tricky....
