I spent an hour on line with Audible, and we cannot get the SanDisk Clip Sport Plus to accept its audiobooks. No books appear in Book folder, and in ROOT folder, Audible and Audiobooks say "insupportable format" or something like that. Audible says that it support the SanDisk, and they promise to keep working on it, but for now it doesn't work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had no problems playing Audible right out of the box. Just download the Audible Manager program on your PC and transfer books to the clip.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This will work with WMA, AAC and MP3 audio format files.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. It does not accept audible files. I have had so much too-ing and fro-ing with Sandisk before they acknowledged that it won't play audible type files. The only answer was to convert the files via 'noteburner' to mp3 file format - this took forever. Even then the audible files lose their chaptering and all have to be renamed for them to be loaded in the correct order. It was so much trouble that I have abandoned it altogether - Sandisk won't refund me because they maintain there is nothing wrong with it. As I only bought it to listen to audio books I have just had to write it off to experience. If only I'd known that this bluetooth model does not do what the earlier models did so well!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. This is an MP3 player that can't play Audible AAX books. But you can try to convert AAX to MP3 files by an Audible MP3 converter. Then the MP3 audiobooks are playable in this MP3 player. I use audkit Audible MP3 converter to get this way worked.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We too had problems getting it to play Audible files and spent ages on the phone to Audible support. It turns out that (for us at least) you can only play Enhanced Audible files (i.e. those with an .aax file extension and not just the .aa version). When downloading your files from Audible make sure you select 'Enhanced' from the pull-down menu on the download page. Enhanced files are better quality but at (roughly) twice the file size which is a shame as you can quickly run out of space when you don't really need top quality just for story books.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Audible has a free program that lets you put their books on mp3 players. Go to their site and Search for Audible Manager.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You have to download the firmware from SanDisk and use instructions on their web to install (doesn't work automatically - auto update fails to see the unit). Then restart SanDisk and download files in Enhanced format. Sloppy work on SanDisk's part. Rush to get out before Christmas? Not if only the Bluetooth worked correctly . . . JTB
