• Yes. All you have to do is hold down the |<< or >>| buttons to rewind/FF through a file. You can even continue to hold the button down when you’ve reached the beginning of a file and it will continue rewinding from the end of the previous file.

• It has a chapter mode that lets you move forward or backward by chapters but it does not have fast forward or fast reverse mode like some of their earlier models. The chapter mode must be turned on as an option. I wish it still had the fast forward and reverse modes. Books with a large number of chapters are tedious to navigate.
