No, the Sandisk Clip Sport Plus 16 GB does not have a Micro SD card slot.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I found no mention of an SD card in the online manual (http://downloads.sandisk.com/downloads/um/clipsportplus-um.pdf). Possibly the bluetooth hardware took up that space.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The only versions I know of that accept the Micro SD card slot are the Sandisk 8 gb Sport or Jam. Best Buy sells only the Jam. Other versions of 16 or greater gb don't have the slot. The slot is recommended to use a 32 gb card, but I use a Sandisk 128 gb Ultra card in my Sport with no problem and have my whole music library from my computer imported and stored in various folders. The firmware originally only accommodated Class 4 cards, but it has been updated to work with Class 10 cards (like the 128gb). Haven't tried cards with more storage capacity (256gb or greater), so can't tell you what to expect. But since the price of Micro SD cards has plummeted, the best money is on a combo 8 gb player and a Micro card. Beware- Best Buy advertises a Sandisk 16 gb Sport Go (red) with a card slot, but Sandisk does NOT list this product with a card slot.
