• I can't imagine any reason why it wouldn't work. Have you had any problems using a flash drive in the past? This flash drive doesn't have a separate case, you can retract the USB connector into the body when it isn't in use .I hope this helps.

• If your HP Notebook has a USB port, yes this will work. It can be used as a removable storage drive OR you can use one as virtual RAM to speed up your system. Sorry but I'm not sure I understand the second part of your question.

• As long as you have a USB port I can see no reason why it won't. I use it on my Laptop & my Surface Pro 3.
