• ready boost is a PC option to use thumb drive like an additional memory for your PC.

• Readyboost is old school i.e. they stopped using that after Windows 7, as it was only used in Vista & 7.

• No problems accessing thumb drive on my laptop and TV. The file transfer are quick and with no lost of data as well.
