Check to see if your drive is formatted to exFAT. Other formats have size limits and caps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A little confused by your question. File "names" really don't have anything to do with size of the actual files. As for not being able to save any more "files" to your USB drive, perhaps the Admin. rights have been changed on the PC (or Mac)? I would have to know more specifics about the problem to give an accurate answer. It could be something as serious as the USB port not working or the USB drive damaged from not ejecting it correctly (just pulling it out of the port w/o disabling 1st). Many possibilities exist. You might want to make a copy of what exists on the USB drive, then run a disk scan to see if problems are present on the drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Limited only by operating system / folder specs. Device acts like a disk drive, so disk limitations apply. Also, some devices (not the USB Drive) are limited in memory and may not be able to access all the data on the drive. Again, output device limitations, not the USB drive itself.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have both a 128 and a 256 and have no problem filling them up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.not that I am aware of on this device. I have never come across a file limit
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.no limit
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm sure it's a file system issue. FAT32 has a maximum of just over 65,000 per folder but I believe that is substantially reduced if you use long filenames (and who doesn't). Your solutions are (1) use more folders, (2) reformat to NTFS (if Windows) or (3) format to whatever system your Apple uses. Note, any reformat will destroy all data presently on your drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes i think somewhere around 120g
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Format the drive in your computer before you use it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is a Windows limitation. There are limits on number of files, file size, number of folders, size of file NAMES, and how the drive is formatted (FAT vs FAT32 vs NTFS). Search Wikipedia for FAT16 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fat16#FAT16), and you will find a rather lengthy article on how the file structure in Windows works, some of it rather old, but it is PC history. But, to the point here, put your files in FOLDERS rather than in the root directory of your drive (any drive actually). The root directory has a very small limit of the maximum files that can be placed there, AND long file names makes that limit smaller. If your Cruzer is FAT32 (right-click, properties, look at File System) and your files are over 4GB each, that won't work. Copy the Cruzer files elsewhere and re-format the Cruzer to NTFS, and copy back.
