That's what I do and I use them on my cell phone all the time I have purchased at least 5 or 6 drives with no issues
A:AnswerYes you can. When you put the usb drive in your computer it will ask you if you want to format the drive, just say yes. After the drive is formatted you can now transfer you files to the drive.
Open the drive up then create a folder for your files, then transfer your files from your computer to the usb drive.
