• I was able to use this SSD as an external drive for PS5 only through the USB-C port on the front side of the console. It has worked without issues so far.

• Hi, please be informed that if PS5 lets you play games stored on an external SSD Drive, then you can transfer games from your PS4 to this SSD Drive and then play them ina PS5. In order to know more about the same, we suggest you to contact Sony Customer Support.
