Scadarick. You are right. The consumer price of this card is $149.99, but like everything else at Best Buy, if you wait a week or two you will see it back on sale for $54.99 or lower. If you find this card online, Best Buy will match the price...and No...I do not work at Best Buy...LOL. But I do like purchasing from this store because they stand behind their product. In the mean time you can find deals on other cards. As I am writing this answer...(01-07-2017), I just checked and the card you are asking about IS ON SALE RIGHT NOW AT BEST BUY FOR $49.99...That is a $100 saving off the normal everyday price of the card. Not sure how long it will be on sale...SO DONT JUST SIT THERE...ORDER NOW...before it is too late.

Memory prices only come down unless you are comparing a regular price with a sales price. *NO* memory prices have tripled so there must be some confusion on what class or capacity it was.
