If you are someone like me and in the past all you were interested in was how much memory you can get for your dollar, then it is time to go to the light. I have never paid too much attention to the the little number inside a "U" under the memory size of the card. The really inexpensive cards have a "1". This one has a "3". It has to do with the speed at which it records and transfers. When it comes time to transfer your videos and pictures from your card to HDD and you are okay with starting to transfer and have to wait long enough to go to the store, have lunch, do some things on your "to do" list, only to come back and see that you have to wait another 20 minutes, just ignore this review. If you are like me where your spare time is short and need to get stuff done NOW, this is your card. I recently had 4 digital videos recorded ( about 14GB) and went to transfer them to my HDD. Thinking I would be there awhile, I was amazed when I watched the progress bar fill quickly and finished transferring before I could get out of my chair. It was literally less than 2 minutes. From now on when I shop for a memory card, I will be a bit more wiser and pay a little extra for more speed.

I have used GoPro for years and have gone through many Sd cards. When I purchased the new GoPro Hero5 Black from "BEST BUY" (see how I plugged the store...LOL)... it came with the SanDisk Pixtor Advanced 64GB micoSDXC Class 10 UHS-3 Memory Card-Red/Gold. I would never have purchased this card (at full price $149.99), but being it came with my new GoPro, I was excited to see what it could do. I professionally shoot sporting events like; Soccer, Baseball, Football and Wrestling. This card aloud me to shoot in 1080p, 4K and 3D. While shooting in 4K, I was able to record an entire Soccer match and Wrestling Tournament. The qualilty of video as well as photos was breathtaking. With data rates coming close to 95MB/sec, it was truely a remarkable card to work with in my editing program. I have worked this card accross several mediums like my GoPro Hero5 Black, GoPro hero4 Silver, Samsung Tablet, LG-V10 Phone and of course my i7-Alienware-Aurora R5 Desktop Computer (also purchased at BEST BUY), and it has worked without any problems or glitches. I would say wait for it to go on sale...but when it does, it is one of the best cards for the coming "4K" world.

    4K MicroSd Card

I tested this micro sdxc card with my plugable superspeed usb 3.0 card reader using the CyrstalDiskMark 3.0.3 x64 at 50mb. Please refer to attached photo for results. With this card I was able to transfer 17.5 GB of movie footage from my computer to the micro sd in just under 6 minutes. When I tested this same data transfer with an older microsd card it took about 17 minutes. So far I am impressed with the faster speeds. I purchased this card especially for the Samsung Note 4 which has not been released yet but for $48 (Best Buy Deal of the Day) I could not pass it up! I am hoping this card will have the speed to capture 4K video on the Note 4.

    Best Bang for Buck

SanDisk - Pixtor Advanced 64GB microSDXC is the best bang for the buck that I was able to find at Best Buy (which they price match, so why not purchase locally at a store). I purchased this SD/MicroSD for a GoPro that my wife and I were using for our vacation and it works perfectly. The $50 price tag for 64gb is reasonable and we have had no issues with the memory at all. Typically, with the higher resolution HD videos that cameras and GoPros are capable of you want to ensure that you have enough memory to capture your moments and adventures. I felt that 64gb would suite our once every couple of times throughout the year needs that we utilize the GoPro 3 Hero+. I provided 4 stars instead of 5 because I thought SD/MicroSD cards would be cheaper in this day and age but they're still a bit pricey ($50+ for a memory size able to holds a lot of HD/4k video).

I am a newbe to the GoPro owners club. I am still learning the ins and outs of capturing those special moments in your life when you think, "Wow, I wish I had captured that in a video or had a camera!" Not knowing when those moments are going to occur makes capturing them even more of a challenge. Therefor having high quality memory that can capture everything you throw at it in virtually any format you use is extremely important. I capture everything I want in 1080p, 3D and/or 4K without worrying about running out of memory. Sure, I capture a lot of things that I discard, but those moments and memories that I used to miss are all captured on my GoPro using this 64GB miniSD Card by SanDisk. I have yet to run out of memory while using my GoPro.

I used this to transfer 48 gigs of photos from my desktop to my laptop - it was fast and worked flawlessly - exactly what I wanted and was cheap as well for the size and came with the adapter that fits right into my mac book pro - it came locked so don't forget to unlock it with the slider on the side of the mini card before you try to do anything with it or you will think you can't use it or its a permissions problem which is what i thought - I finally remembered to unlock it and reformatted it without a hitch and then transferred my photos didn't take long at all for 48 gigs of pics and the transfer to the laptop which is newer was even faster - it runs of the usb bus so at the max speed on the newer machine it was twice as fast

I purchased this device to use in my underwater camera. The next dy I jumped on a plane to the Red Sea, Egypt. When I arrived in Egypt I plugged it into camera #1, video camer # 2, then my buddys GoPro. In all three camera the device was not only dead out of the box, but hot to touch if left it in more than a minute. As an electrical engineer with more than ten years of design experience it was obvious the device had a direct internal short in it from the factory. I just returned from Egypt after a month of diving there. It will be interesting to see if Best Buy will honor the defective device purchase agreement tomorrow when I bring it back?

This card is one of the top 10 fastest cards on the market right now as far as micro sd cards go. I picked up 2 of them when they had a sale on them. The thing that you will notice is that NOBODY else sells this card except for Best Buy. This card is made exclusively for them and you won't be able to match any other part number from any other card to it. I was trying to do research on the speed and couldn't find any other specs but you will find that Sandisk makes the "Pixtor" cards for Best Buy so the specs are on here and on Sandisks website. Anyways this is an excellent card for HD recording and high speed editing. If you need something faster than check out the Samsung Pro and that's as fast as they come. :)

Let me say I have only been using this card for about a month. I currently have 3, 64 gig mcsd cards all from sandisk and received this one as a replacement for a 128 gig that failed twice in a row. Best Buy allowed me to exchange the last one with this card. I use it for streaming movies, shows and music from LG v10 phone, NAS and Ultra book. I know and have ran all the benchmarks on every card I have and had. As a consumer who truly transfers and uses large files 2~6gigs I will never go back, the other cards I now use for FHD action cam and pictures. I no longer have to plan out file transfers that will waste 15 mins. They are done in a few minutes, Great Job Sandisk!

I purchased this to photograph a wedding. Thank goodness I had some old cards with me or I'd have been fired on the spot! A friend told me about a sale on SanDisk 64GB going on so I went to Best Buy to check it out. This is a $150 camera card w adapter... I put it in my camera, said it needed to be formatted... My camera said it formatted it and read that the disc was full. It will not show up that it's activating a drive when inserted in a computer. I've tried 3 computers... Will be taking it back, hoping the next one works. If it does, I will write I good review. If not, I will be repeating what's said here... Hopefully y'all will see a glowing review!

Since the Gopro is an HD camera that needs fast writing speeds, not just any SD card will work. Yes, you can find 32GB or even 64GB SD cards for $20 or $30 but you will have problems getting them to work with a GoPro. People criticize their camera or card and say that it is broken when in reality it is a consumer error and they chose the wrong SD card. I have used this SD card on my GoPro for several weeks now and have had no problems either recording or uploading. It uploads all 64GB in just a matter of minutes. It is a tremendous little card and I am going to get another soon. Again, I would highly recommend this SD card for any GoPro user.

Pretty fast for a microsd, SanDisk quality

I had the older SanDisk microsd 64GB capacity, and bought this one expecting it to be faster. It IS faster, but still... Current technology for microsd doesn't make these things fast. I got it to transfer files at 30MB per second, which is WAY better than 12MB per second which is the speed of pretty much all other microsd's out there, regardless of their "rating" speed. Compare that to SanDisk's 128 GB Ultra SD card. SD, not microsd. That card transfers FAST. I know it says 80MB per second, but on several occasions file transfer exceeded 100MB per second. Don't ask me how, but it did. I copied a 4GB ISO in seconds. That was nice.

I bought this for my new GoPro. While taking high def pictures and filming high def videos, I find that both size and transfer speed are a blessing...and a must. It's nice to know your (several) day's worth of work can be stored on this device and you don't have to worry about switching out for another card. One can make an argument that you can simply transfer over files and walk away to let the PC do its magic. However, when you're in a rush, transfer speeds are a beautiful thing. Also, Sandisk quality and durability has never disappointed...unlike other brands I've used in the past.

I have used several variations of these types of cards and I can say that during video recording there are issues. In my Canon T2i set to video record other generic cards would cause the camera to heat up and eventually stop recording because the write speed was not up to par to capture 1080p for longer duration then just 10 or so minutes. This card in conjunction with the adapter was able to take my recordings all the way through a time laps of the sunset and my camera battery was more a worry then the space / heat of the camera. Great card, is now my standard go to for my events.

I was confused when I needed to find a memory card that would work well in my son's GoPro Hero+. There are lots of different levels of SD cards out there. The GoPro site has a chart listing the recommend cards for each model of camera. http://gopro.com/help/articles/Block/microSD-Card-Considerations This Pixtor was not one of the options at the time of my purchase but it has made the list a month later. Same card best I can tell when compared to the normal SanDisk Extreme Plus. Shopped around and Best Buy beat the rest with a sale price. Works great and my son has had no complaints.

We take these things for granted. I put so much trust into these little memory "machines". For the the professional or even serious hobbyist, these little cards can make or break you, literally. In the past 20+ years, the SanDisk products have never let me down. Fast, tough, resilient, and always reliable performance under almost any earthy conditions. The Pixtor Advanced 64GB micro SDXC UHS memory card is no exception. A perfect compliment to your photo drone.

I have a Nvidia Shield K1 Android tablet. It's an excellent tablet but low in storage. I added this and moved apps to it and now I have plenty of storage and the Tablet's performance is still great. I wanted this high speed card because the tablet supports 4K video recording and playback and because I didn't want to risk having apps run slower from the card than the internal storage. I haven't tried 4K video but I don't notice a difference between running apps from the card or the built in storage so I'm very satisfied with the card.

This card actually came with my GoPro Hero5 Black as a bonus, otherwise I would have purchased the equivalent SD 64GB ExtremePlus, as it is the same specs and was $100 cheaper. Depending on the setting, I can get almost 4 hrs of 720p recording on this card, or 3+ hr of 1080p. I have not used it yet for 4K recording yet, as I don't have anything that will display 4K quality, but it says it will record up to 200 minutes at 4K.

I would give it 5 stars, if the speed was as claimed on the packaging. I understand that speed is determined by several factors, so I took just one star off. The slower card I also purchased at the same time was: "SanDisk - Pixtor Advanced 32GB microSDHC Class 10 UHS-3 Memory Card", was slightly slower, but the cost was also much less. If I had to purchase the cards again, I would purchase the slower card and save some money. But the card does work well and I have no other complaints.

Bought this card on sale since it was the same price as the smaller 32 gb card. Wasn't sure if it would work since I was having a lot of issues with lesser cards on my go pro. Went to Disneyworld this past summer and it performed without any problems. Go pro site said it would work so I went for it. Well worth the 45 dollars.
