Please allow us to inform you that USB 3.1 gen 1 (now USB 3.2 gen 1) is a specification in which supported products are rated at *up-to* 5Gbps (625MB) of transfer speed (read or write). That specification does not necessarily dictate that as a transfer speed minimum requirement. This means that some products, while compatibile with USB 3.2 gen 1 will not transfer data as fast as the maximum suported. There are different technologies incorporated into different USB flash drives (e.g. SSD technology in the SDCZ880) that allows for faster transfer speeds than the majority of lower-cost USB flash drives.
