The read and write speed is about 4x as fast with the plus... Means that items you copy or access from there will be loaded quicker, probably not enough to be a deal breaker for simple storage, but if in a phone, you'd probably want to splurge for the plus... They read/write at 80MB/second l, where the regulars are in the 20s...
