As long as the media slot is correct for that card, it will work properly. When u move card to new device your material that you stored/downloaded to the card will be there and usable.

It works fine with mine. As for the 2nd part of the question I believe when you install it the phone will ask you how to configure it. If you configure it just as extra storage you should be able to remove it and put it in another phone. If you configure it as internal storage which I believe may help the phone work faster you can not. The phone will use it as part of its system storage so it may disable your phone if you remove it. I am no expert, but this is how I understood the the usage of the card by the phone when I was researching buying a card. As for the card I installed in my phone it is functioning as I expected it to.
