• The old instructions said, don’t get a SD card bigger than 16gb, it would not read on anything bigger. The new instructions say use a 32gb SD card. They fixed the problem with it not reading anything over 16gn

• Yes, I believe it will. I currently run Lowrance but one of my fishing partners runs a Helix unit and uses microUSB to transfer data.
