• No, this card will not work on your Galaxy S5. You need a micro SD card for the S5 and this is a full size SD card.

• Is it a big or a small opening.... If it a big opening this will fix perfectly but if it is a small opening than you will need to buy a Mini-SD card which can be found on BestBuy.com
