No. It will be flat against the wall with very little space. You will have trouble trying to unplug or plug things into the back of your TV. I have a 65" Samsung and when Geek Squad arrived to mount it, I decided to get a tilting one instead and am very glad I did. It may cost you more, but it is well worth getting one that tilts. The one I got is below. I do not know what size TV you have so it may not cost as much as mine did. Also, the one I got has a mount for my sound bar. There are tilting mounts that don't have that feature that are cheaper.
