Hi NapaPaul, To remove the TV, unplug the cables, then pull the safety cords to unlock the mount, then carefully lift the TV off of the mount. For visual reference this is outlined on page 21 of the IM which can be found this products page on our website. Thanks, - Haydn @ SANUS
