Hi, Are you planning on mounting this outdoors? Our mounts are not recommended for outdoor use and if used outside it voids the warranty. If not for outdoor use then as long as you are mounting it into studs, I don't see a problem with vinyl siding. Thanks, - Haydn @ SANUS
