• It includes everything you need in the package to record directly into your iPhone. Just make sure to plug in the mic and included adapter, before you open your video or audio recording app, so the app recognizes you're using an external microphone. When you want to hear playback you will need to remove the microphone from the lightning port. I hope that helps.
