At this time, this is the only SSD that works with the new Xbox Architecture (required for XSX games). You can still plug HDD/SSD in via USB3.0; however, they can only be used for OG Xbox/X360/XB1 games, and NOT for XSX games.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The issue is not just an SSD issue, it is the bus that it connects to. SSD drives using USB 3.0 will not have the data transfer rate required to service native Series X games. If you have an SSD drive that you use with an Xbox One, you will be able to keep using it to play games that you have stored on it, but you will not be able to use it to play native Series X games. As of now, Seagate is the only manufacturer that makes a drive that will fit the slot.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As of today this is the only one for the Xbox, they may have other brands down the road but that's up to Microsoft and the memory suppler.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is the only one compatible for now. Since this is the Day 1 solution, Xbox is probably giving some amount of exclusivity window to Seagate before they release other devices from other manufacturers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, that's THE RUB. Microsoft is going with specific new technology, so nothing else will work. You either shell out the $250 + tax for only 1tb. Or, you don't get it and use up your 1tb that is inside the console.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. At this time but the price of the SSD cartridge is the same as a SSD stick. Their is no reason why Sandisk, Samsung and others could not make a compatible cartridge for the xbox x.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This drive is the only one from any manufacturer capable of expanding the internal memory while maintaining the same performance that is required to run the new games. Microsoft teamed with Seagate to produce this drive and no other manufacturer currently has a product to match the specs
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.this will be the only card that will work
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Exactly what the last comment says
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Older models work like the sea gate 2tb external. But this one just plugs right into the hardware so you don’t see it out laying around
