“How hot will this get since this is basically a external ssd with no type of cooling fan?... I have the 2Tb and it does get a bit warm while gaming long sessions on my XBox X... which then I switch to PS5 Pro or my new Nintendo Switch2”

It doesn’t heat up as far as I’ve been able to tell. I’ve had some 4-5 hour gaming sessions and it runs just fine the whole time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is an internal card, not external. There's a slot on the back which integrates this card as a secondary internal storage. The hardware casing acts as a heatspreader. No fan is necessary
