• Yes. However you will need to reformat it using the Mac Disk Utility. It works fine with my iMac running Yosemite.

• Yes. It is formatted with the NTFS file system but it comes with the Mac NTFS driver. There is also a Mac version what comes pre-formatted with HFS+ so make sure you check the packaging if thats critical to you.
