Yes, but keep in mind Xbox series X/S games won't "run" from the external hard drive, any external hard drive for that matter....they need to be downloaded on the Xbox itself to be played. It is easy to switch the game from the external hard drive and the Xbox hard drive.

Sadly no. You need an $250 2T Xbox Series Expansion pack to install and play it. However you can play/transfer/move/copy for Xbox 360, Xbox One X/S on it and play!

It works for the console but you cannot play the next GEN games on it. you have to transfer it from the storage back to the console in order to play

It works for both but will not let you play new gen games on it only Xbox(O) Xbox(360) Xbox(1)

We have our hooked up to our Xbox Series S. Works great.
