IS this kid safe for a 9 year old? null

safe is a relative term i presume. Our 9 year old son got an electric scooter for Christmas 2021, but will only go about 7 MPH. I let him ride this one with supervision and only on the medium speed setting that limits to about 12 mph. I do recommend a helmet at the very least but our son rides this thing like a champ. he really enjoys it.

Honestly I would say no. It’s pretty fast and the handle bars are high for and adult. A kids scooter would handle bars at the proper size and speed for better control.
