Just So you know you can connect a cheap router with 2.4ghz to your current one through the LAN ports on the back giving your cheap router with 2.4 GHz wifi internet access. Or you can buy a cheap wifi extender that has 2.4ghz that connects to your current network configuration giving your robot mop wifi. This works with my configuration at home.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This has to have a 2.4ghz network to connect to (like almost all IOT devices). I don't know of many router that only send out a 5ghz signal, almost all of them send out both a 2.4 and a 5 for this reason. Whoever sets up the router would be able to help, sometimes they are different network names so it can appear to be different networks but they're both the same once they get back to the router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.if you only work with 2G
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Most 5ghz routers have a selection for temporary 2.4ghz only. On my Eero mesh router, I go into the app and select "settings", then "troubleshooting", then "my device won't connect" . That will let you temporarily disable the 5ghz network so only 2.4ghz is being broadcast. You can setup your device and it should remain connected to 2.4ghz.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It works on Wifi. If you don't have wifi, you can run the robot without downloading the app but will miss a lot of key features.
