I just purchased this vacuum and there are no rubber strips on the roller.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, and I wish there were! I have a Shark corded vacuum with the rubber strips. I have NEVER had to clean hair and lint off the strips. Nothing gets stuck on its way into the dirt bin. Hair, dirt, and debris all just go straight into the bin, even all the hair from my Australian Shepherds, who shed A LOT. While I do like the Shark Cordless Pet, I have used it once and the rollers got so gummed up with my dogs' pet hair that the unit just basically stopped picking up anything. Shark does have cordless models with their Power Fins, but they are a minimum $350 for the cheapest model. I will upgrade one day, but for now I have to deal with this cheap technology, and I don't consider paying about $180 for a sweeper vacuum cheap! With this said, I do love Shark vacuums. They are tough and do last!
