• It has more suction than any vacuum I've ever used and I've had a Dyson the last six years

• Can't answer that specifically, but mine sucks up at least twice as much as my old Kenmore upright that uses bags--it does the job it's supposed to do. The tight bag-less tunnel keeps much of the particulates from escaping back into the air, as was the case with my old Kenmore with bags.
