• You need an app to set everything up, but once you have done so, you can run it by pressing a button on the robot itself. I believe it is 2.4 GHz only.

• Yes, you can use the Stratos Robot without the app. The unit has physical buttons, so you can simply press the Clean button on top of the robot to start a cleaning cycle manually. For Wi‑Fi connectivity, the unit requires a 2.4 GHz network and does not support 5G networks.
