I just got my Stratos 2-in-1 robot a few days ago. It's actually fun to watch how it deals with transitions between hard floors and carpets. It's a little awkward at the beginning as it's creating a map of the house, but once it learns the locations of the hardwood floors and various throw rugs and starts cleaning, as soon as it crosses the boundary while mopping the hardwood floor it will lift its wet little butt before it even gets to the carpet to keep the carpet dry. Then, once it gets to the other end of that carpet, it drops the wet mop pad down again, and continues mopping.
