• It does have a clean fresh smell. Not overpowering but noticeable. Almost like clean linen.

• I haven't noticed a strong fragrance and im fairly sensitive to scented detergents. Yes You can turn it off too.

• Yes, it is an optional you can lock it, but if you would like use fragrance then you can unlock it and there is an also optional of how strong do you want it there is a button you can control that to low or high.
