“Shark Vertex Pro IZ640H. Should I leave plugged in between uses, regardless of battery life left? Also, can the battery be removed from the unit and an additional back-up battery be purchased? Thanks!”

• Yes battery can be removed. I bought a second battery as a back up. You shouldn’t keep this plugged in all the time, that will cause battery life to decrease!

• It’s always best to unplug after it reaches max capacity. You run the potential of “overfilling” the battery and rupturing it
