• I have been cleaning for almost 30 yrs and have used shark for most of that. Yes, the brush stops. I have never had a problem with shark brand.

• I bought this vacuum bc we have vinyl plank flooring. It’s works excellent and does not hurt the floor. It’s super easy to detach from bottom to make handheld too. I’ll never go back to a normal vacuum.
