• No, this TV can be used, as a TV, without an internet connection. It has 3 HDMI ports and can operate without an issue using just the devices plugged into those ports. However, if you want to use the Roku channels, you will need a wireless internet connection.

• You do not need Internet if you use an external antenna to view over the air free local tv channels. For everytning else (Netflix, Amazon and other apps), you need Internet.
