“I'm wondering while playing a cd you can exchange/ load another cd. i own a shelf system at the moment where while a cd plays you can load or exchange one of the others. does this unit do that.”

Hello, the CD has to be loaded before the unit starts playing. Meaning, if you would like to play another disc, you would be required to stop the unit, load the other CD, then press play for that CD in that tray to play.
