“I have a stereo receiver..can this be hooked up to my receiver to listen to music I have a 5 changer CD player that does not work any longer.. having a hard time replacing it”

I have this system connected to my Denon AV surround sound receiver. I used the headphone jack on the front of this system and used RCA red/white connectors on the back of the AV receiver. Music plays through the left and right speakers connected to my AVR.
