• Fear not friend it totally does. Go into setting then to the hdmi cable settings and set it to 2.0 not auto select and voila HDR gaming

• LC-50LBU591U does have HDR, you have to turn it per port. I called and confirmed with Sharp AND it says right on the box, between the mobile app icon and the wireless icon.
