“Does this TV automatically have sound built in? or am I suppose to purchase a sound bar with it in order for it to play sound?”

• Yes it does have speakers om the back. If you want good sound for music, buy a sound bar. I did. Otherwise, this is an excellent tv and a very good buy.

• The TV already has speakers built in it. And they seem to be very good quality speakers. I installed it in a finished room of my basement.

• Yes, it has sound but it's tinny stereo so you'll want a soundbar.

• It's got two powerful 15W speakers so sound bar would actually probably be less powerful than what you got.
