“This microwaves goes inside a cabinet. Does push button to open it is SOFT OR HARD. I do not want to be HARD PUSH. The microwave moves in with every PUSH then it does not line up or in flush with the Grill that borders the cabinet.”

I have an older model and the door opener is how you describe it. Is there a way you can prop something behind the microwave to keep it from sliding back or is it that the push itself is too hard? I'm thinking a board or brick or a few old coffee mugs.

Mine is an older model and the open button is a hard push. If you can find a microwave with a pull open they're often easier

We have ours on a stand and the door opens fairly easily when pushing button. The stand doesn’t move.
