“I want to replace my 13 yr old Viking VMOC506SS witha Sharp SMC1585BSS. From what I read, the dims are nearly identical as is the "look" of the keypad. Will my Viking 30" trim kit with the duct work for the convection fit on the new Sharp? Thanks, Jack”

Yes, the Viking "IS" a re-badged Sharp microwave. In other words, Viking is built by Sharp with minor changes to the door face and name. It will fit exactly the same.
