Do they go inside the ear or lay outside? null

Lay outside. Fit is good but may take some practice if you wear glasses.

Outside. Slightly hooks in, but only very little.

They don’t actually go inside the ear they just lay on the outside.

They kind of tuck into the 'bowl' on your ear, they do not go directly into the ear canal.
