“Why are the open run pro 2 shokz only water resistant while the open run pro’s are waterproof?”

Both the OpenRun Pro 2 and the OpenRun Pro have an IP rating of 55, meaning they are resistant to water splashes and sweat, but are not fully waterproof and should not be submerged in water. The OpenSwim and OpenSwim Pro are the only headphones that are fully waterproof and can be submerged in water. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions. • Seems to be due to the allowance for more air passthrough, allowing for the deeper bass in the Pro 2’s.

• Because is a great tool to use while working out or working in construction all the sweat could damage any other headphones But these headphones are great for sweating
