This is a great lens for portraits , nature and also to shoot weddings. It does fit rebel t5 but acts as a 50mm due to the EFS mount on Rebel T5.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Sigma 35mm is supposed to be the ultimate portrait lens, and it is! It's incredibly sharp and the Depth of Field at f1.4 is amazing. I've shot an entire wedding video on it and it came out awesome, and got a lot of attention. If you're shooting wedding photos this would be great to have in your arsenal of lens but I would rely on just this lens for a wedding. As far as landscape shots go, it's does great. The mm isn't ideal but it still creates some shots. I was shooting a lot of nature landscapes with this lens and often finding myself wishing I had a wider lens. I've just added the Sigma 20mm to my set for landscapes and I'm really loving what it can do! It will fit your camera as long as you buy the lens with the canon mount (EF mount). But I think your camera is a crop sensor so it will be about 1.6% more zoomed in with a crop sensor. That means that on your body the lens will be around a 56mm lens.
