Yes and No. Your system must be connected to the internet either via WiFi or cellular to access this through the app.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Once you connect/paired the lock to your SimpliSafe system.. i’ll be working via Bluetooth from your SimpliSafe (wifi) system. Meaning the home system is connected to Wifi. Now the door lock is connected to the home system. Therefore by opening the SimpliSafe app while grant you the ability to unlock and lock your door from anywhere as well as to activate your alarm system from elsewhere I hope that answer your question
