The Smart Lock installs over your existing deadbolt, replacing the inside piece where the thumbturn is. So it would still be the same lock, with the same key, but motorized and connected to your security system. if you already have a standard single-cylinder deadbolt on that door, then you'll have no trouble! Yes, unlocking the Smart Lock through the PIN Pad also disarms the system.
