“I am planning on setting up the full SimpliSafe system at a later date but I need a lock with a keypad only in the very short term. Will this system work with just the keypad and lock locally (I understand I will not be able to use the app at this time)?”

• Unfortunately, no. The lock is designed to work only with the SimpliSafe alarm base station. The lock has no memory & relies on the keypad PIN codes that were programmed into the base station to work.
