• As mentioned by other users, our Smart Lock is designed to install over an existing single-cylinder deadbolt. Unfortunately it is not compatible with door knobs or other types of deadbolts.

• It only works with single cylinder deadbolts, not door knob locks. It is essentially an automated thumb turn for a deadbolt.
