• Yes. Goes over the inside knob to turn it.

• The SimpliSafe Smart Lock installs over your existing single-cylinder deadbolt - essentially replacing the inside part with the thumbturn. If your door doesn't already have a single-cylinder deadbolt, you'll need to install one as well.
